A smile is a sedekah - sort of a gift,given sincerely from the heart to people...a smile a day keeps wrinkles away..and I am happy to say that I started my day with full of smiles..I ain't goin' crazy but I realise in order to put our sadness aside and live a positive life, one must learn how to smile..I smile because I am thankful that I live today..thankful that I get to see people that I love in my life and thankful that I can blog about it here. *smiles* I read it somewhere, if we learn to smile more,we can never know who will fall for that smile we gave..tak rugi tau!.
Yesterday before I went to sleep, I checked my PacNet email and found out that my manager,Steven,had sent me an email..its regarding his coursework project that he had to hand in for his part-time Dip in InfoTech..goodness,Kyu was supposed to do his work..the Pizza Order system..then he emailed me saying Kyu did it in ASP and he wants it in VB! *palms hit forehead* gosh what the heck did Kyu? If he can't do it,say it...now he's creating more mess...I decided to sleep and do it at work so now, when I manage to see the codes..yes, it's ASP with VBScript integrated,not VB codes totally..No doubt I'm mad at him coz it's barely two weeks before I'm off for good and this very "smart" friend of mine made me clean up this mess...
I waited for him to arrive to work..question him and the conversation goes like this :
Me: "Hey,Kyu! Steven asked U to do the project, U wrote in ASP ah?"
Kyu: "Ya,I dunno how to code in VB." *blur look*
Me:"Did U know that I had to convert all those codes into VB?You create mess for me to clean up!" *storms off*
He continued to act nothing is wrong.I'm burning but I think back,like it or not, I have to do it,I wouldn't want the manager to be upset..I mean Kyu could've been frank he knew nuts about VB in the first place,save trouble,now I have to think how to convert..goodness..I can't find any sources that can do the conversion..found one but seems it doesn't work properly...Now I had to email Steven (can't face him man! Malu oreadi!) about the matter..He also one fella..own project dunno how to do..how to get Diploma oso i dunno! *shakes head* Do I get paid xtra for doing his private work? its FOC in which I hope he'll be kind enough to write good testimonial on me..that's more than enough I can hope for..now me hungry but I got no mood to eat..Sleepy too..maybe will nap during lunch time..take care peepz..
