"Dan di antara manusia ada yang menyembah tandingan-tandingan selain Allah.Mereka mencintaiNya sebagaimana mereka mencintai Allah .Adapun orang-orang yang beriman sangat cinta kepada Allah"
These means that there are those who love their wives and kids more than the Ultimate One..often we can see such love around us..in which we are too engrossed in "worldly" duties..forgetting who had been blessing us all the while..the love that we express often to humans..did we ever express it often,publicly..to Allah? In the history of Islam..it had been stressed out how important our love towards Allah is..remember about Prophet Ibrahim A.S.? Upon the gift of God towards him,a son by the name of Ismail, Ibrahim A.S. began to focused his total attention,love and care to him..and began to drift away from channelling his love to Allah..What happened then? Allah instructed him one day to sacrifice his son to prove how much he love Allah and that he is willing to sacrifice anything for HIM..And Ibrahim A.S. almost did as told and Allah knows best for he replaced Ismail with an animal in exchange..and that made Ibrahim A.S. realised..no matter how much love we had for humans, love towards Allah is above all..
The sweetness of iman - faith cannot be felt unless we focused totally with our heart and soul to HIM (ALLAH), who always waited to receive our love, just like what Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. had said :
"Tidak akan mendapat manisnya iman kecuali orang yang pada dirinya terdapat tiga perkara iaitu : Hendaklah Allah dan RasulNya lebih dia cintai daripada cintanya kepada selain keduanya,hendaklah seseorang mencintai orang yang lain tidak lain hanya semata-mata untuk Allah,dan dia tidak suka dikembalikan kepada kekufuran setelah Allah telah menyelamatkannya daripada kekufuran itu,sebagaimana dia tidak suka untuk dilemparkan ke dalam api neraka"
There are a few types of love I wish to share with,in which some we can try to avoid from :
- Love towards Allah - without it,you can't even be saved from hell,ever.
- Love whatever that is loved by Allah - this love brings us closer to Islam and away from kekufuran
- Love because and for Allah - it is important to love and being loved by what is loved by Allah.without it,our paths will not be smooth
- Love something and treat the love similar towards Allah - this kind of love has the aura of syirik.
- Love in the form of feelings within humans - Such love is not forbidden as long as it doesn't make us forget Allah and from berdzikrullah
